Postpartum Doula
Jessica is an ABC trained Postpartum Doula, currently working towards her DONA International certification.
She started caring for children as a way to support herself as an actor in New York, and quickly realized she loved this work, and how inspiring and fulfilling it can be. She has worked with infants and their families for over six years now, and adores this time in a little one’s life.
As a postpartum doula, she is here to provide emotional, physical, and informational support to families during the postpartum period. Whether it’s answering questions about newborn care or helping with baby-related household tasks, she is dedicated to making your transition to parenthood as smooth as possible. She believes that every family deserves compassionate and personalized support during the postpartum period. Her goal is to help families feel confident and empowered as they navigate the joys and challenges of early parenthood.
As a member of the neurodivergent community, she finds great satisfaction in helping new families find the routines and strategies that work for their unique family.
Jessica is originally from North Carolina and graduated from UNC- Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) majoring in Dramatic Art and Vocal Performance. In her free time she enjoys spoiling her two cats, Clover and Willow, lifting heavy at Crossfit, and teaching herself how to sew.
