ABOUT ME

Cecilia is a mother and postpartum doula who has been working with Austin area families since 2018. She became deeply passionate about this work following the birth of her daughter, after which she had a long & difficult battle with postpartum depression. After recovering from that tough period of early motherhood, Cecilia knew that there was no other purpose for her in life than to support parents during that sacred but trying “4th trimester”! Her work fills her heart more than she could ever say, and she feels so honored & grateful to any family that trusts her to be part of their tribe during such a special time.

Cecilia is originally from the Chicagoland area, and studied sociology & anthropology in college before moving to Austin in 2011. She enjoys hanging out with her daughter, husband, and pups, seeing lots of live music, traveling as much as she can, playing guitar and mandolin with friends, and cooking for her family.
