ABOUT ME

Claire is a doula, graduate midwife, and student nurse who has been in birth work for more than five years in both the Austin area and San Francisco Bay Area.

While not a mother herself (yet!), she absolutely adores kids and is very close to her two nephews, Miles (1) and Calvin (4) and many baby cousins. She has worked as a birth and postpartum doula, birth assistant, student midwife, certified nurse’s assistant, and nanny so she has a depth and breadth of experience caring for newborns, infants, and pregnant people. Coming from a base in home birth and birth center birth, she is passionate about birth choice and holistic care.

Currently, she spends time finishing her bachelor’s in nursing, studying for her midwifery licensure exam, and spending nighttimes as a postpartum doula where she specializes in breast/chestfeeding and newborn care. She also loves pets, playing with her nephews, cooking, and training for marathons.
