ABOUT ME

With a decade of birth experience, hundreds of birthing persons and families held through their labor and postpartum periods, and 6 babies of her own, Joni brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the ABC team.

Joni’s professional experience includes 15 years as a Registered Nurse working in both labor and delivery and hospice. She has additional training in EFT (tapping) and Transformational Breathwork. [Joni also serves as one of ABC’s core childbirth educators.]

As a doula Joni believes in the power of birth to create a solid foundation for any parent-child relationship and for the family as a whole. As a trauma survivor, she knows the value of approaching life’s most transformational events with an open heart and a compassionate spirit. With this in mind, Joni’s care is client centered and trauma informed. She is privileged to supported you and your family through this exciting time.
