Kimberly has always had a natural inclination towards caring for newborns and supporting families during the transformative period of welcoming a new member into their lives. Since the tender age of 16, she has been an invaluable resource for family members and friends, providing assistance and guidance in nurturing their newborns.

Her passion for maternal and newborn care deepened during her tenure as a Patient Care Technician in the Postpartum Unit at St. David’s North. Here, she witnessed firsthand the joys and challenges that new mothers and their infants face in the immediate postpartum period. This experience ignited her desire to extend her support to mothers and newborns on a more personal and professional level.

Driven by her commitment to enhancing the postpartum experience for families, Kimberly pursued further training as a postpartum doula through The Midwifery Institute. Equipped with comprehensive knowledge and skills, she approaches her role with a blend of compassion, reliability, and expertise.

Kimberly’s approach to doula care is rooted in treating her clients as family, ensuring they feel supported, understood, and cared for during this vulnerable time. Highly dependable and conscientious, she prioritizes the well-being of both mother and baby, offering assistance with feeding, bathing, changing, circumcision and cord care, as well as light housework.

Specializing in overnight care, Kimberly recognizes the importance of rest and rejuvenation for new parents, providing them with much-needed relief during the night hours. Her aim is not only to alleviate the practical burdens but also to offer emotional support and guidance as families navigate the transition to parenthood.

Outside of her doula work, Kimberly finds joy in spending quality time with her loved ones, including her beloved dog. Whether it’s playing with her furry friend or cherishing moments with family and friends, she understands the significance of connection and nurturing relationships beyond her professional endeavors. With Kimberly by their side, families can embark on their parenthood journey with confidence, knowing they have a compassionate and knowledgeable ally supporting them every step of the way.
