ABOUT ME

Raquel is professional, caring, and well versed in couplet care in the hospital and home setting. She is an excellent resource for the immediate postpartum period, as well as the fourth trimester. Dependent on your vision and expectations for this time period, she will gently guide you and your family by providing the knowledge she’s acquired through her 10 years in the profession. She is passionate about education and helping families transition through this critical time period as a registered nurse. She believes that it is important to find a balanced, flexible routine early on that works for the whole family. First time parents will truly benefit from her range of abilities in lactation support as a certified breastfeeding counselor to newborn care.

In her off time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling. Raquel has lived in Austin since 2021, and met her husband in our beautiful city. They have an Australian Shepherd and are working on expanding their family just like you. Raquel will be an asset to any family taking that first step into parenthood.
