Postpartum Doula

Jeni Potvin

ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Jeni — a certified postpartum doula who believes deeply in the power of slowing down, being seen, and feeling supported during the early weeks with a new baby. I come alongside families during this sacred (and sometimes chaotic!) time to offer a calm presence, practical help, and encouragement that’s rooted in compassion, not perfection. Whether it’s helping with newborn care, processing the birth experience, or making sure you get a hot shower and a moment to breathe — I’m here to meet you where you are.

My path to this work has been shaped by both personal experience and professional training. As a mom of two, I know the tender, emotional, and sometimes overwhelming space that postpartum can be. After walking through my own seasons of adversity, I’ve developed a deep reverence for the resilience of families and the importance of being truly held during life’s hardest and most beautiful moments. It’s meaningful work I care deeply about, and I’m honored to support families through it with warmth, honesty, and heart.

Before stepping into doula work, I worked  in the fitness and wellness world, helping people build strength and reconnect with their bodies in empowering ways. That experience continues to shape how I support new parents — with a focus on whole-person care, mindful movement, and honoring the body’s healing process during the postpartum season.

When I’m not supporting families, I love squeezing in a good Orangetheory class, enjoying strong coffee, and finding reasons to laugh with my kids. Movement is my reset button, and the mountains are my favorite escape — especially when I need to slow down and breathe. I’m all about finding joy in the little things and creating space for both silliness and stillness in everyday life.
